DIY Thursday - "Unique Containers"

We were inspired to write this post for our DIY Brides.  Whether it be a Wedding, dinner, or private event these quic tips will come in handy.  We offer some inspiration and guidance for brides who seek classy and minimalistic centerpieces without breaking the bank.  There's a classic request of 1-3 immersed or floating flowers in cylindar vases with lots of candles for our DIY bride.  So to zet up this request we recommend using unique containers instead of cylindars.  When you present style flower petals or stems in unique containers it automatically glams up your blooms.  You may already have your favorite bloom in mind but here are a few of our recommendations: Cymbiduim Orchids, Phalaenopsis Orchids, Calla Lillies (when stems are placed underwater the become flexible and bendable), (Hydrangeas (great full bloom), Vanda Orchids and Roses (for its best presentation make sure you sit them in warm water to open up the bloom). These blooms are sure to give you a lovely presentation without breaking the bank.

Always keep in mind when you are styling with a few stems or petals the container is very imporatant.  Our recommendation is to always measure or request the size the container opening.  This will give you heads up whether you need more or less blooms to have a full styled centerpiece.  The largest impact we've seen are clustered mini centerpieces with candles alongside of the centerpieces to offer illumination.  If offers the appearance of abundance and creativity.  With these tips you should accomplish a romantic and lovely look and experience for your guests to enjoy.
