Tabletop Tuesday - Numbers with Class

We are super excited on how unique and creative table numbers have become. When designing table numbers it can become a process depending on how intricate the details.

Have you ever attended an event and the table number is too low, small, ineligible or better yet you can’t see them from a distance? Perhaps the table is crowded and the number is lost in the middle of the table setup. Well we will offer a few tips on how to make your table numbers stand out and make an impression.

Our main goal is to showcase creative table numbers that follow the event theme and to make them big and bold enough for guests to read.  For example, wedding themes can fall into categories such as vintage, classic , rustic, modern and contemporary.  The creative process can begin with using elements based from centerpiece flowers, color palettes, invitations, fabrics and embellishments any of these items are helpful for the basis of design.

Here are some great tips to live by when designing table numbers for your upcoming events:

  • Make sure your numbers are big bold for great visibility for guests.

  • Use legible font types.  Studies have shown that Ariel, Courier and Verdana are best fonts for print.

  • When using embellishments make sure they are used in a manner that displays definition and contrast for easy viewing.

  • Be sure to place your numbers high enough on the table for an easy read.

  • Print numbers on both sides. This helps guest to view numbers regardless of the direction they enter the room.

What was the most eye catching table number you've seen at an event? What was so unique about it?
